Vemara club

The pool was a major disappointment, especially for our little one who had been looking forward to it. It was almost empty and still filling. Reception said there was another pool in a separate part of the complex, but that one was being filled too and was perhaps half a meter below its normal level. We called the booking site and canceled, explaining why we were leaving. We later received a partial refund. Our birthday gift turned into a terrible experience from arrival. Reception couldn't find our booking at first, then told us the room was ready. It wasn't the room we had booked online, and it was dirty and damaged. The terrace had lots of bird droppings and a leftover cigar. Our all-inclusive package included an afternoon snack, but there was nothing ready at the restaurant, and staff didn't seem to know it was included. The person in charge kindly called to arrange something. After we canceled, we saw the staff gather for a meeting from the terrace. A couple of staff members who had been nice before then seemed to change their behavior. I don't know what was discussed, but I guessed they may have been scolded for something they weren't responsible for.

Daily room cleaning and friendly staff made for a nice stay, and the choice of food was wide. The hotel has a restaurant and an upstairs sky-bar with an amazing landscape view. We also had two complimentary dinners with Bulgarian national food at the restaurant, so we got to experience the all-inclusive service fully. There's a gym for people who want to train every day. A nice choice and a nice vacation. Thanks to everyone who created the hotel's atmosphere.

The hotel is simple but comfortable, and everyone was friendly. The food was very nice, with maid service every day. It's very quiet, though there's nothing to do outside the hotel grounds. The beach is basic, free, and peaceful, and there's a free minibus to the village. My first time in Bulgaria.

We spent eight days in a villa at Vemara Club in August 2021. It's not a first-line hotel, and there's no private beach. The pictures on the sites were old and inaccurate. We found just one pool instead of three, and the sunbeds were always taken by towels. There was no rooftop sky restaurant in the main building. Every bathroom in the villa had something broken, either the toilet cistern or the shower tray. Staff only spoke Bulgarian, though we were lucky that the receptionist knew a little English. The beach was a 15-minute walk along the road in the sun, with no sunbeds, umbrellas, or lifeguards. It was very dirty, with seaweed and midges, and sharp stones and shells covered the seabed. This was the worst way to spend our vacation.
