The food was a real letdown. Breakfast was included, but it was poor and had few choices. The toaster took ten minutes for one piece of toast, and the only vegetarian or vegan options were three kinds of fruit. Drinks that should’ve been chilled were all at room temperature. The room and bathroom were both clean and nice, though there was no soap. The shower had good pressure and enough space. It’s set quite high, so that’s good if you’re tall.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive across the board, from management and reception to the bar and housekeeping. It’s a peaceful spot with mountain and countryside views, just a short walk on flat ground from central Gabrovo. I love staying at this hotel when I’m in town.

It’s a very clean hotel with friendly staff, set in a peaceful area. The rooms are decently spacious and nicely designed, with a green colour theme, and the view from the window is really serene. The restaurant’s complimentary breakfast was delicious. I almost always ordered risotto for dinner because they made it so well. It’s about 3-3.5 kms from the central market in Gabrovo.

For a business conference or event in Bulgaria, this hotel is a great choice. It’s roughly in the middle of the country, which makes it convenient. The rooms were very clean and the furniture brand new, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended!

I stayed here for the Gabrovo Magic Cat Festival. The location was quite nice and enjoyable, and it’s a pretty good hotel for a stay in Gabrovo.
