I was there on a business trip. The room was small, but had what I needed for a short stay, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were always smiling and really helpful. The whole place was spotless, without even a speck of dust.

For 15 euros, I booked a double room through a booking platform, so I wasn’t expecting much. It turned out to be spacious and clean, though basic, and the bathroom seemed almost new, apart from some water leaking. The surrounding area isn’t very nice, and it’s a little far from the town centre. They don’t take credit cards, which seems odd for a hotel nowadays and is something they could improve.

The steep, bumpy road up and the sloping street parking take some maneuvering, so be ready for that. Hotel Panorama looks ugly from the outside, but inside the rooms are large, clean, and en-suite, with air conditioning at this price. The location on the outskirts of Gabrovo is quiet. Staff were friendly, though they don’t speak English, and it’s very good value for money. My room had everything I needed: clean towels and linens, soap, and shampoo.

The room was big and clean, perfect! That 200×220 bed is great if you’re tall, you’ll know what I mean. Just wish there were a kettle. Recommend!

It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s extremely cheap, very clean, and in a very good location. The staff are really friendly too. Strongly recommend this place!
