Guest House Strumena

I left with good feelings, and the house has plenty of amenities for a comfortable visit. The hygiene was good, though the bathrooms and other areas could be cleaner. The place has been in use for a long time, so it shows, and I think it could use a refresh.

The main drawback for me was the constant traffic on the busy street outside. Otherwise, this is a very nice guest house, clean to a high standard and equipped for a longer stay. The owners are kind and responsive, and the kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher. A large group can gather in the spacious living room by the fireplace or around the barbecue area. There are two bathrooms with toilets, plus three rooms with one double and one single bed each, and another room with a double bed only. It’s close to the center of Elena, and there’s a large playground nearby, though it’s quite neglected.

We had a genuinely lovely stay at Stramena House. The hosts made us comfortable, while keeping the traditional style of the Elena region. A heartfelt thank you to them!

The kitchen has everything you need, and the people here are warm and hospitable. We were very happy with the house for our vacation and would return without hesitation.
