St.George Hotel

We weren't after anything luxurious, just a place to stay in the Rila mountain with a restaurant. The rooms aren't close to amazing, but they do the job. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant and its staff: the food was delicious, the portions enormous, and the prices reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and made an effort to make our stay nice. We'll definitely visit again.

Didi, Kristian, and their outstanding team made our New Year's Eve celebration amazing. Great place, wonderful hosts, and such memorable moments. Thanks, we'll be back for more soon!

The hot tub outside and the forest walks were real highlights. It’s a quiet, comfortable spot with tasty food and really nice staff, and it works well for private parties. They also organize transport to ski at Malyovitsa, and Borovets isn’t very far away. A perfect place.

It’s conveniently on the road to Malyovitsa, about 8 kilometers from the ski area, though the village and nearest shop are about 2 kilometers away. The hotel has its own parking lot, with enough spaces for all the cars, and there’s an outdoor playground for kids in summer. The rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were very large and clean too. There weren’t enough wardrobes or hangers, though, and hot water took several minutes to come through. I guess the hotel doesn’t have a circulation pump. WiFi was available only in the downstairs restaurant, not in the rooms. The food was good but a bit pricey.
