Villa Paris

I liked the service and the location, but the cleaners and the smell in the bathroom weren't perfect.

A good place to stay if you're in Hisarya for the thermal waters. It's a boutique hotel near the old town, with individually designed, comfortable rooms and impressive interiors. The quality for the price is attractive too.

Locals we met a few times asked where we were staying, and each time we heard, “oh Villa Paris is the best hotel in Hisarya!” We were very happy there too. It's a beautiful, clean, charming boutique hotel, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Since the villa has no restaurant, they called in an order from the nearby restaurant “Balkan” and even picked it up for us. Sitting on the terrace by the old Roman ruins with wine and local takeout was wonderful. Breakfast is top notch. On weekdays they cook when you come down and serve huge portions; on weekends it's still great, but served buffet style when there are more people. The only small disappointment was the jacuzzi. It wasn't the cleanest, perhaps just a one-off, and it closes at 8pm. An automatic shutoff around 10 or 11pm would be better.

The garden is gorgeous, and there's a jacuzzi right by the Roman wall. It's a cozy, charming hotel with a great breakfast and really kind, polite staff. The centre is under five minutes away, and one of the mineral water springs is a five-minute walk.
