The people in Kalofer made me feel welcome, including some locals who shared raspberries they'd picked in the mountains. I slept well during my one night there. It was clean and peaceful, and the comfort felt fair for the price. Coffee in the morning was included. A handy base for heading into Central Balkan National Park.
I stayed here for 10 days last year and would happily come back for a longer stay. In the morning you can hear birds and other animals, and take a walk to the rose fields. It's a really nice place to stay.
A good spot for hiking, close to town too. Panorama restaurant is just across from the guest house, about a three-minute walk. I found it an excellent place to stay.
The price was the lowest, and the guesthouse was clean and quiet. The hostess was lovely, attentive, and ready to help.
Nice, clean rooms for a good price. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
