Nimpha Bungalows

It’s a nice, quiet place with a good location, and the staff are very responsive. They seem to have everything you need, and pets are welcome too. A pool would be a nice addition for days when the sea has big waves and you need somewhere else to relax.

Kamchia itself is a great place, but the people running the accommodation are incompetent. Inside, there’s a moldy smell in the rooms, dead flies, dim lighting, and a wardrobe you can’t open. It’s dirty outdoors too: chairs and tables are scattered around the yard, the paths aren’t swept, and the tiles need straightening. The shared kitchen is a mess of dirty furniture and has no oven. People should speak up when they have complaints, or nothing will change.

We had a good two-night stay, though cleanliness gets a C. The rooms have balconies and showers, and are set up for anyone wanting a few quiet days in the forest. For a large group, the place is a great find: there’s a big veranda with tables and a kitchen for snacks, plus a barbecue and plenty of gazebos for parties. The grounds are nice, but could use a little attention. There are two great fishing spots 100 meters away, and the sea is a 5-7-minute drive.

The location is nice, and it could be worth a visit with good company, but the place itself is only average. Lekinko is a long way from the beach, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars.
