Royal Grand Hotel and Spa - All Inclusive

The room was clean and spacious, and ours was on the fourth floor with a sea view. It was cleaned daily. The spa was decent, with a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, herbal sauna, steam bath, dry sauna and salt room. It felt kid friendly overall, though the hotel beach gets deep quite quickly, so it’s not a good fit for little kids in the sea. Most children seemed to stay in the pool. Outside the hotel, a beach sunbed and umbrella cost 6 leva; otherwise, you can use the hotel beach and sunbeds. Food was okay, with enough options. Just don’t expect five star hotel food for a three or four star price. We think we may return, since it’s good value for the money.

There’s no free parking, but you can find a spot in the area near the hotel. Food and drinks come in plentiful, varied options, and the rooms are clean. The hotel was exactly as described, and the spa was okay. I RECOMMEND!!!

The indoor spa is awesome, and the rooms, food and service are all very good. Getting down to the sea means using stairs, and the outdoor pool is small. Those were the only problems.

One of the kids got sick on our first day, so we checked out the next morning. We’d paid for five nights all inclusive, but they refunded only two. We could have stayed and risked everyone getting sick, including the staff, but that wouldn’t have been right. We expected more understanding, or at least for them to follow the stated policy, which says they charge one night if you don’t show up. Instead, we were charged for two nights we didn’t use.
