The quiet location is a plus, and on a clear night you can see the stars. But turning around on the partly unpaved road is tricky, and the house itself was disappointing. There were about 20 keys with poor labels, so finding the right ones was a guessing game. Inside, the themed decorations made the place feel crowded, with little room for our things. The bathrooms and kitchen sink smelled bad, and the cleaning wasn’t good despite all the fees and house rules. Watch out for the upstairs bathtub, you can step right through it. The downstairs shower has one of those Eco showerheads with very little flow. There’s also a security camera inside, so be careful with any naked shows 😅 The listing mentioned a PS4, Xbox, and iPad, but what we found was a PS2 and a small Lenovo tablet. We booked for seven people, though only six came, and the same service fee still applied. The owner wouldn’t allow extra people after the booking, even with unused space, but didn’t say anything when fewer of us stayed. Before arriving, the owner asked for a deposit and a “service fee” in BGN to an account in euros 🤷‍♂️, which left us paying extra fees. There were lots of requirements, and communicating with the owner was difficult. For what the place is worth, I’d stay somewhere else. The owner asked us for a good review, but life’s tough, and you can’t always get what you want, just like we didn’t get what we wanted here. It’s okay if you’re prepared to deal with a very strict owner and the hassle of paying more than it’s worth.
