Sunset Complex

The hosts were wonderful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and had a fully equipped kitchen. The swimming pools were beautiful too. Just right for a family holiday. I’d definitely come back.

The staff really made the place feel welcoming. They were kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm. I stayed for four nights, and the spacious room had everything I could need, so it was very comfortable. The pool was clean, well cared for, and lovely to relax beside. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

The pools are a plus, and they’re the reason I’m giving two stars. Beyond that, the place was frustrating. We were on the ground floor, where people outside could see straight into the room and even get a full view of the bed, despite the curtains being closed. The thin curtains didn’t block the outside light either, so it was bright both at night and in the morning, and daylight still came through my sleep mask. The doors and walls also seemed paper thin, with lots of noise in the corridors. Early one morning, two strangers came into our room to check for a supposed water issue. We had no water problem. They didn’t greet us, ask permission, apologize for waking us, or even answer our questions. The technicians were extremely rude. People around here were rude in ways I’ve never encountered elsewhere in Bulgaria. Management should be ashamed of how they treated paying guests. The place is cheap, so you get what you pay for, but these problems aren’t about the budget. They could set rules about noise and spend the same money differently, for example, on curtains that actually block light. The place could be okay if the technicians weren’t so rude. They behaved like cave men.

I love staying here. Management does everything they can to make sure you have a great time. There’s no need to leave the complex for facilities, with pools, a gym, bars, a restaurant, and a kids’ park area. Sunny Beach is easy to reach too, about a 10-minute bus ride or a taxi from the complex.
