You can use the kitchen and other appliances, so you’ll need to bring your own food and supplies. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. The rooms are neat, spacious enough, and have what you need. Set beside a river, the place has a calm, relaxing feel. I’d recommend it if that’s what you’re after.
We went with friends for an out-of-season weekend and were the only guests there, so there wasn’t any service; we handled things ourselves. Getting there was okay, and check-in went reasonably well. The rooms felt cozy and had nice views. There are lots of dining rooms and other spaces, a pool, and a football field. It seemed well suited to a family holiday, a work group retreat, or a larger event such as a wedding or team building.
We were greeted warmly, and the owner knew my name and checked that I was comfortable. The staff were polite and spoke English. Everything was very clean and peaceful, and it felt well worth the money. We stayed two nights and would gladly have stayed longer. Just remember to bring your own food 😋
There’s plenty of room for everyone, whether you come as a big group of friends or two couples. It’s a really comfortable, wonderful place. The pool is nice, and the kids’ playground is awesome.
The gardens are amazing, with lots to do, and everything felt very clean and welcoming. The owners were friendly and helpful. I loved staying here and hope to come back soon with friends or family.
