The owner was so kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed being there. This is a lovely old place, with a sense of history and tradition going back over 200 years. We didn't mind that the rooms and bathroom were small. With children, the apartment is the best fit: its two bedrooms connect through an inside door.

The old house has plenty of charm, creaky floors and all, and it's in the historic part of Lovech near the sights. We only stayed one night, which felt like enough. We arrived quite late after letting the host know ahead of time, and appreciated that they waited for us. The rooms were small but had what we needed for a short visit. The bathroom was tiny, and the water wasn't running when we got there, apparently because of public restrictions. The toilet tank also leaked whenever flushed, leaving the floor wet.

We enjoyed the little yard, the wooden details, and the cozy feel of the place. The house dates back to 1821, and the view from the window was lovely. The host was nice and used Google Assistant translator to explain everything we needed to know. In the morning, the host's wife surprised us with something very nice.

A small stay, but a unique experience. The location was great, and the service was good, with Google Translator doing the speech-to-speech job. The air conditioner was noisy and the fridge didn't work.
