Friends Hotel

We found this gourmet heaven and ended up spending every chance we had there. The atmosphere feels special and so relaxing while you eat, and the staff are both professional and friendly. The food was great, and the playground was clean and lovely for kids. Families can enjoy their meal while the children play, and it was nice to see them away from their phones. We went five times, and I already know where we’ll eat next time we’re in Lozenets. Can’t wait :)

The restaurant food was amazing, and the service was too. We stayed at the hotel for almost a week, and our room was very nice and clean. It did get a bit noisy at night until midnight. It’s a shame the menus aren’t in English, though I guess the place may be intended just for Bulgarians. I’d definitely recommend it.

I only tried the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and it arrived quickly. The waitress was really welcoming, the atmosphere was pleasant, and I left full after finishing my meal. A pretty good place to eat.

The garden was lovely, with fruit trees, nuts, grapes, and a nice playground. Great atmosphere, and the menu looked promising. The food was only a bit above average, though. Some of the flavor combinations and attempts at more complicated dishes didn’t come together, like using flour where coconut should have been. The cooking seemed a little untrained. Then we couldn’t pay by card. Who can’t take cards? Maybe they can’t manage an application, or perhaps they don’t want to pay tax. It felt like either they’re laundering money or something is wrong. They tried so hard and got so far, but in the end it doesn’t really matter.
