The restaurant in the same building is convenient, and the food there is delicious. The location is a little way from the center, but close to the Wine Museum and Kordopulov House.

Parking is the main problem. With narrow roads and no parking, getting around by car can be a nightmare, especially in a larger vehicle. The staff were very helpful, though, and I liked the romantic old-style rooms, even if some are small. We had an issue with the AC, but it did manage to heat the room. The restaurant is lovely, with a fireplace, and there's one in the lobby too. Food prices are very good.

The outside verandah where breakfast is served is superb, and the hotel is in a quieter part of Melnik, so we slept well. We got great value for the money, with a lovely wooden room and a balcony looking out over the old houses on the street.

The room was tiny and the floor hadn't been cleaned. We're a family of four and ended up sharing one small double bed because the other bed had bed bugs. The staff didn't apologize for the awful night or handle the request for another room professionally. Breakfast wasn't great either, and the hotel staff were rude throughout our stay. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place or stay here again.
