Elit Pamporovo Apartments consists of four buildings with apartments for rent. It can get busy in winter, and the nearest ski lift is about a 15-minute walk away. In practice, you’ll need some kind of transport, since walking along a busy road in ski boots with your equipment isn’t advisable. The apartments are nice, but can feel a bit cold in winter. It’s not a regular hotel, so there’s no room service or restaurant. Our apartment had a kitchenette and dining table, which made cooking and eating in an option. It works well for remote work, families, or larger groups. On our last visit at the end of January, the road wasn’t properly prepared for cars, so you might want to bring chains just in case. Also, one of the two elevators was out of service, which was a pain when carrying luggage and ski gear up four floors. Aside from those issues, it’s an okay place to stay, with great views of the forest.
