Glamping Alliance Hotel

There’s a bus stop right outside, with three lines that reach the city centre in about 15 minutes, so there’s no need for a taxi or rental car. The spa was wonderful, and the staff were all super nice and helpful. Special thanks to Plamin for making our anniversary memorable and for his wonderful spirit. We had a wonderful stay. Everything in the hotel was clean and tidy, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety.

We came as two families with kids and had a great time. We stayed in the hotel while our friends brought their caravan to the camping area behind it, which worked out nicely. The whole place feels thoughtfully made, from the hotel to the glamping, camping and SPA center. The lobby has a collection from different parts of the world, and you can feel Plovdiv’s history there. It gives the place a special atmosphere.

I’ll definitely come back. The hotel and camping complex has its own charm and beauty, and you can tell it was made with love and imagination. I stayed at the campsite, which has everything you need and more. The spa is very good and reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and sort out problems that come up. It feels like home. Some people complain that nearby apartment buildings block the mountain view. But six kilometres from the centre of a big city, it makes sense to have buildings around you. You’re not out in nature or a forest. You can see the mountains from the hotel roof. An observatory up there would be a good idea, and I’m sure staff wouldn’t refuse if you asked to go onto the roof. You can bike from the complex to the centre, though there are a few minor difficulties. The whole place feels ahead of its time.

We used the motorhome facilities and found them excellent. The campsite staff are very friendly, and the place is clean, well equipped and well maintained for visitors. I’d highly recommend a visit.
