For a hotel that calls itself five star, a lot was disappointing. Breakfast started half an hour after the stated time, and the menu didn't list allergens. When I asked for a bill, reception couldn't split it. The bathroom flooded whenever we showered, since the bath wall was so short, and housekeeping didn't leave enough shower gel.

The restaurant service was slow, though the chef made amazing food with quality ingredients. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, housekeeping was efficient, and reception was certainly helpful.

Breakfast was the main letdown: it was a short à la carte menu with five similar options, and even small changes weren't allowed. I'd eat elsewhere in the city. The rest of the stay was good. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with complimentary bottled water and coffee. The hotel sits right in the city center without noise or heavy traffic, and the staff were kind and willing to help, though their very limited English seems unsuitable for a hotel hosting international guests. If you're driving, ask about using the parking. I would recommend the hotel overall.

It's a really nice, quiet, brand new hotel. The view from the room is a little strange, though. Hopefully that gets sorted out soon.

We were happy we chose this place for our two nights. The rooms are perfect, breakfast was good, and it's right in the center. Thanks to everyone working there. If I come back to Plovdiv, I'll stay here again.
