SPA Alchemist Residence

A perfect spot to unwind, with hot water, a great salt sauna and a steam room.

We go there for the swimming pool, and my daughter is happy with it. She likes the trainers, and it’s not crowded during the week.

The restaurant manager, a blonde woman around 40-50 with glasses, threw me and my guests out for no reason. She told us to leave and call a taxi, or let her call one. She wouldn’t even let us rent a room at the hotel. She clearly doesn’t care about serving customers. This isn’t normal for a hotel with such a high standard and good reviews. Get rid of the restaurant manager. I don’t recommend staying here.

We came expecting a relaxing SPA break at a well-known place with a good reputation, but left disappointed. The place has potential, yet in its current condition it doesn’t meet expectations, especially if you’re coming for the spa. The indoor pools were noticeably cold, and the room around them was cold too. The open pool area had murky water, which made it unpleasant to use. One section was closed to guests because, we were told, it was “for the boss”. The water there seemed much cleaner and twice as warm to the touch, which made the way guests were treated feel even more unpleasant. There were protruding nuts with bolts on the stairs down to the pool, where a railing seemed to have been planned but never installed. I pricked myself on them. That’s a real injury risk and raises serious questions about basic safety. Hygiene in the spa and pool areas was also worrying and below what you’d expect from a place this famous. The sauna wasn’t on when we arrived, so it had to be switched on and heated up. Once it was ready, it was the only place where we could actually warm up. The steam room was heavy and stuffy, almost impossible to stay in. When we raised our complaints, there was no real response or effort to improve things. It felt like guest comfort and satisfaction weren’t a priority.
