Guest House Nadin

The mattresses and pillows were the biggest letdown. We didn't get a proper night's sleep, and you could feel the springs in every mattress. Honestly, the pillows were better left unused. The apartment itself was nice and roomy, with two bathrooms, a small kitchen with a fridge, hob and utensils, and, unexpectedly, a washing machine. We didn't need to use it. The guesthouse Nadine is very well placed, close to the beach and a five-minute walk from the center. The rooms were cleaned daily and were spacious, modern, and had what we needed. The building clearly isn't new, though, and there was no yard. The yard shown in the photos belongs to a neighboring guesthouse. There's no reception or basic guidance about where to get the apartment key, either. Luckily, we'd saved the phone number and could call to ask.

We were looking to book a room, and the hostess was friendly at first. She asked for a deposit worth six months, though. Once we began asking for details and a video, that friendliness vanished and she stopped replying. I'm surprised people leave positive reviews about the hostess. I wouldn't recommend dealing with Nadine.

The rooms are roomy, modern, and have everything you need, with daily cleaning. The house is just two minutes from the central beach and around seven from the center, so it's a good place to unwind. What bothered me was how built up Pomorie is. The buildings stand so close together that there's no air, and parking is scarce.

Our room was spacious and bright, with a large terrace, and we were welcomed and looked after with smiles throughout. They even helped us with parking and sorting out a car problem. The place was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the response and attitude were lovely. A very nice hotel in a good location, with a wonderful owner, Mrs. Nadezhda Petrova!
