Aparthotel Marina Holiday Club & Spa

The rooms need renovating. The sofa, couch and duvets were covered in stains, and there was mold in the bathroom. Maybe this family hotel was four stars when it first opened, but now I’d call it three. The people and food were a real highlight. Ivet and Iwelina at reception were friendly, efficient and very helpful. Emi and Eric on the animation team were amazing, and my son couldn’t resist how warmly you drew him in. Thanks for the smiles, friendliness and endless fun! Eric was just as warm on his day off when we happened to meet him at the beach. The food had a great range and good quality, and the young serving staff were pleasant and helpful. It’s beside the waterpark and a five-minute walk from the beach. Please renovate the rooms and we’ll come back.

The noise carries even with the windows shut. I’m staying about 150 metres away, and the animation team, or whoever is making it, wakes me every day at 8:30 and again at 15:30. I can only imagine how loud it must be for guests at that hotel. There’s no consideration for them or for anyone nearby.

The food had plenty of tasty choices, and our room was good, with air conditioning and free WiFi. The hotel was great for the kids too, with entertainment and dancing. The animators put real enthusiasm and love into their work. I’d go back just to dance with them.

We had a great time as a family. The Green Bar, which is connected to the hotel, was where we spent many good evenings. The beach and water park are a short walk away, and there’s a small supermarket nearby. The one drawback for me was the lack of a proper bar. You can have drinks with your meal or at the little pool bar, but there isn’t a place to sit and socialize. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was good.
