My girlfriend and I stayed for ten days. From the balcony there was a beautiful view, and our room had a small fridge and air conditioning that worked. The bathroom door was the one annoyance, it was hard to open. Staff were very friendly, though their English wasn’t very strong. Breakfast was buffet style, with coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and water with Tang or something similar. For a three-star hotel, I’d definitely recommend it.

The view from the window was gorgeous, and the air was fresh and clean. I visited Penelope Hotel in spring 2022 and was impressed by the varied, tasty food, the tidy room, and the respectful, considerate way all the staff treated guests. I’d like to come back and recommend a visit.

The location is the only good thing about this place. There’s no elevator, so you have to haul heavy suitcases up the stairs to the fifth floor. We asked for fresh towels, but they weren’t changed. Breakfast was awful, and finding parking was a problem.

Just a few minutes from the north beach, with friendly, helpful staff and a tasty breakfast. Great location, I’d recommend it!
