I really enjoyed my week at Deja vu in early September and look forward to returning. It’s a family run place, and very well run, with friendly, helpful staff who spoke good English. The rate was €30 per night, so it was very good value. The same family own the faces cafe/bar around the corner and a substantial fish restaurant beside it. We tried the fish restaurant, but it was fully booked, with seating for about 100 people. I had a nightcap at the bar every evening and met Jim and David, two drinking pals who live there for the whole season.

I paid a deposit after booking through Booking, then canceled within the free cancellation period. The hotel still refuses to return it, saying its internal policy requires cancellation 25 days before check-in. They don’t seem to care about Booking.com’s terms, and their response was rude. Avoid this place.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were very nice. There are stickers saying the water isn’t drinkable, but it is.
