Family Hotel Square

Being in the city center is a plus, but I can't recommend staying here. There was mold on the walls and carpet, and the bathroom looked like it was covered in it too. Damp bathroom doors left the rooms smelling bad. The price doesn't match the quality.

The restaurant, The Square Tavern, is where my two stars come from. We were travelling for business, and before arriving I told the staff I really needed hot water in the shower, but nobody checked. Back in our room there was no hot water at all. After a while, staff moved us to a more luxurious hotel next door, managed by the same team. At least we had hot water there, but the shower was broken, so I had to hold the shower head while washing. I had also asked for an invoice the night before, but nobody was available to issue it then. In the morning no one could prepare it either, and I had to wait for the manager, nearly missing my next meeting. Both hotels we had to stay in were very neglected, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms were tidy, if a bit small, and breakfast was decent continental fare. The coffee was excellent. Perfect location.

The location is the one good thing. Everything else was bad: the room was dirty, and we struggled to find the host. There's a restaurant right by the hotel entrance. Avoid it if you have another option.
