The so-called park next door looked more like a construction site, and parking was appalling. Our huge apartment had a strange layout, with no kitchen, a massive bed in the living room, and bathrooms that were far too large. The old-fashioned, pretentious furnishings made the place feel like an adult movie set. There was a clogged drain smell throughout, and plenty of signs of poor maintenance.
The rooms are huge, so the kids had lots of space to play, and the location and price were excellent. But there's no proper private parking as advertised. They point you to a very muddy area that everyone uses, and you can leave your car only if a spot happens to be free. Maintenance needs attention: several doors wouldn't stay closed, including the front door unless locked, both shower heads were damaged, and the bathtub shower sprayed everywhere. Cleaning could've been better, and there was a dismantled electrical socket. The outdoor AC unit in one bedroom was incredibly noisy. No WiFi.
These are large, comfortable apartments that have all been renovated recently. Just keep in mind there's no reception, so call the host ahead of time and have him show you to your room.
A minute's walk from the city park and all the shops you need. The rooms are great value for money.
A lovely place to relax, and a very good hotel. The owner takes part in the day to day running and is keen to help. The service is excellent.
