We liked the apartment a lot. It was large and comfortable, the owner was very friendly, and the back garden was amazing. We enjoyed sitting there and wandering among the trees. Breakfast was basic, just an omelet, coffee and vegetables, but fine for the price. There wasn’t another option in the area that we could find, though you can make your own food in the kitchen. Our plans changed the next day, so we were happy to return for another night. I’d highly recommend the place and would enjoy staying again.

The family running this guesthouse made me feel so welcome that I added two extra days to my stay. I loved the area, and there are plenty of mineral pools and good restaurants nearby. From here, the 7 lakes ski lift is about a 25-minute drive, rila monastery is around an hour and a half away along a scenic route, and an amazing waterfall is roughly 30 minutes away. I’d called that day after seeing no availability online, and luckily they had a queen room with a balcony for the weekend. They held it for me until I arrived later that day. The room was comfortable, and sleeping with just the screen door open to the wind, birds, and cicadas brought back memories of my grandma’s house. If you’re staying in this banya, I’d say stay here and enjoy the area. Many thanks to the lovely famy for such a wonderful stay.

The host went out of her way to help when I ran into a problem after leaving, which I really appreciated. While I was there, I felt safe and was welcomed warmly. The place is cozy and clean, and the hot pools are very close. They can even arrange a discount. Definitely recommend!
