Family Hotel Sinemoretz

The beach location is a real plus, especially for the best beach, which isn’t the central one. The hotel itself was dirty and worn out, with threadbare towels, poorly fitting sheets and uncomfortable mattresses that made sleep difficult. In our room, the balcony railing was so rusted it seemed close to collapsing. The children running the hotel tried their best, but often couldn’t answer basic questions. There are much better places at this price, including ones with breakfast. Keep looking unless your expectations are very, very low.

Rooms are very basic, and there’s no daily cleaning or sheet changes. The staff are the owner’s young son and daughter. They make an effort, but they’re still kids. Check-in is done with a paper layout of the whole building, with a box for each room where they write your name. Not a place for pretentious people.

We stayed for three days and our room was never cleaned. The rooms are small and uncomfortable, and even though each has a bathroom, it’s outside the room. The place feels like a remnant from the past. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The balcony door was troublesome, and the shower had issues too. The toilet leaked, the fridge wouldn’t work, and neither would the AC.
