The apartments are in a beautiful, tidy location, and everything was very clean, but I never felt comfortable in the apartment or on the balcony. The curtains weren’t proper either. If you pay around 200 euros a day and end up staying indoors because you feel watched, that’s a problem. Be careful when booking. Apartments 2 and 3 have partial sea views, while some others offer a full view for the same price. From apartment 2, you look straight at apartment 8’s bedroom and the building ahead. The sea is to the left, along with neighbors by the pool, who seemed to think I was staring at them even when I tried not to. There wasn’t really anywhere else to look. To the right, you can see the sea past the neighboring balcony. From apartment 3, you face the neighbor in apartment 8’s other bedroom. At least there’s a field to the right and nobody looking at you, but it’s better not to look left. The other apartments are okay. For the view, my order would be 8, 7, 6, 1, 4, 5, 3, 2, with 3 and 2 the worst. Apartments 8 and 1 are larger and need to be booked separately. If you want a regular apartment, 7 is the best; 6 is also very good, and 5 and 4 are good too, on the ground floor but still with sea views. The view is the best thing here, and the prices are the same despite the very different outlooks. Ask about these apartments by email. If they don’t have one available, be prepared to pay a lot just to watch your neighbor go to bed. I wish I’d known before booking, but at least you know now. The person I spoke with was nice, but didn’t know English and used a translation app. Around Sozopol, almost every sign was in Bulgarian, which made the area seem not very tourist-oriented.
