We regretted choosing this guesthouse over and over during our two-night stay. We booked a deluxe double room based on the great photos on Booking, but what we got looked nothing like them. The room felt like a basement and smelled like one too. It was so narrow there was nowhere to put our luggage, and the bed took up about 95% of the space. You nearly tripped over it when entering, and stepping out of bed put you straight into the tiny bathroom. With the shower head hung on the wall, you'd have to sit on the toilet to get under the water. The wardrobe was unusable because of its awful smell. The TV looked like it was from my grandmother's time. The windows barely closed, so someone could get in, and the two see-through curtains offered no privacy at all. The advertised “patio to each room” was really a shared backyard where everyone's things were piled together. The air conditioner blew straight at the bed because there was nowhere else to put it, and we couldn't use it while in the room without freezing. Two men argued loudly beside our window the first night, and we could hear people talking in the next room through the very thin walls. On the second night the air conditioner suddenly started blowing hot air and turned itself up, so we had to fix it in the middle of the night. There was no privacy, no room to move, and no hygiene. One pillowcase was stained. There was no parking either, since all the spaces nearby were paid subscriptions.

The stay was TRAGIC. The room had ants, the bathroom drain was blocked and flooded, and the mattress was extremely hard. The TV was placed so awkwardly that watching it meant twisting your neck 180 degrees. The bathroom lights ran on a sensor and kept switching off, making it hard to do anything in there in the dark. The room wasn't cleaned during our stay, the body towels weren't changed, and there weren't any hand or face towels. The landlady was arrogant and seemed unable to run the business. She first sent us to another house a 20-minute walk away. When we said the room she was offering was locked, she blamed being busy and having made a mistake, then sent us back to the first location. There, the room was locked again, which had never happened to us before. We waited another half hour for it to be sorted out. Between arguments and moving luggage, she cost us about two hours. She drove an expensive jeep, yet there was no toilet paper or hand towels in the rooms. There was no parking available, and even stopping in front of the house for five minutes to unload was apparently a huge problem. She looked at us insolently and told us to move so she could park there right away.

The landlady was rude, and there was no housekeeping during our three-night stay: no towel changes and not even the bin emptied. When we mentioned that the rooms were full of ants, we were told, “Well, they won't do anything to you.” Parking wasn't included in the price, contrary to what was stated online. There are only two or three spaces in front of the house, and they charge 10 lv a day for them. If an owner wants to park there, guests have to move their cars. Don't go there!

I was very happy with everything. The room was large, the air conditioner worked, and the bathroom was okay. The owner was really nice and polite.
