The studio was a nightmare when we finally got back from the beach. There were spiders and cobwebs everywhere, dried grease and dust in the kitchen corner, and a moldy smell that had soaked into all our clothes by morning. The bathroom window facing the yard was the only source of fresh air. The fridge was held shut with a luggage elastic, and I'll leave its condition at that. The TV and air conditioner remotes were grimy and sticky. Before we saw the room, a kind uncle had let us check in earlier than promised. He said he'd been a lawyer, and charmed us so skillfully that he was quick to ask for the money, though we got no receipt or other document. We were only staying for the weekend and didn't want to lose time, so we left our luggage and went to the beach. After that unpleasant night, we decided to leave and asked for a refund for the second night. He said, "I'm vomiting blood, I'm not giving you a refund, I can't do anything, I'm just a pensioner who manages his sons' estate!" An extremely dirty and unpleasant place. People, don't put yourselves through this!
