The hostel is handy for a one-night stay, with supermarkets and shops nearby. Kaufland is about a 10-minute walk, and Tsar Simeon Veliki Boulevard and a bus stop connecting to different parts of the city and the University are just under two minutes away. At 65 BGN, I think it was worth the money, and I'd stay again. The friendly, helpful staff checked us in quickly and explained how the AC, water heater, TV, and other things worked. Our twin room was clean. There were a few marks on the sheets, but they smelled freshly washed, so I assumed the marks couldn't be washed out. The main downside was the thin walls. We could hear what was happening in neighboring rooms, including when people used the bathrooms.

We had no trouble switching rooms, even though we'd booked a different one. The woman at reception was incredibly proactive and friendly. I was very happy with the stay. Amazing service, give that girl a bonus!

The place is renovated, cozy, and cheap, with all the facilities in good working order. It was extremely clean, and the staff were very nice and smiling. They took Covid-19 seriously and handled it appropriately. For value, it's the best hotel in town. Strongly recommended!

I paid 39leva for a double room with a/c. The receptionist spoke very little English, but she managed to explain what she needed from us without any trouble. The room was clean and nice, with a great heater in the bathroom. It had a college dormitory feel, with a single bed on each side, separate closets for two people, and an outlet on either side. There was one table in the middle.

For that price, it was a really nice stay. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. I paid for a 2bedroom and had the place to myself, with towels set out on my bed. The staff were really nice. The kitchen wasn't very usable, though: there was a microwave, but nowhere to cook.
