It's a lovely family run hotel, with comfortable beds and great rooms. The location works well for visiting Stara Zagora and Kazanluk. There are also lovely hiking trails around an old Monastery in Maglizh, well worth a visit.

The way holidaymakers were treated felt horrible and peasant-like. I can't recommend this place.

I had a great time, and really enjoyed chatting with Rosen.

The room was roomy, and the bathroom was huge, but the cigarette smell made the stay unacceptable for us as non-smokers, even with the window open when we came in. The photos make everything look much better than it felt in person. We paid 76 euros for the night and weren't impressed. The rules were odd: bringing food into the rooms was banned, with a penalty of 100 BGN or euros, one of the two, but smoking wasn't banned despite there being no smoke alarm. It seemed strange that food was treated as more dangerous than fire and smoke. The sauna was decent and looked clean. The warm pool was small, and the jacuzzi was just enough to say it was there. Breakfast starts at 9 am, and we had to order from a menu. Our order was delayed and then came out wrong. I wouldn't recommend it.
