Apart Hotel Flores Park

A kettle was the one thing missing from an otherwise good room. The hotel is about 8 minutes from the beach and 10 from the city center, and we could always find a free sunbed. Staff were very welcoming. One night we were sitting by the pool and the receptionist brought us apples, which was really kind. A good choice for young people, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The pool area was nice, with benches, umbrellas and music I enjoyed. My room was also fairly nice and had air conditioning and cable TV. The bathroom spiders were still there after the first cleaning, so I eventually removed them myself. Toilet paper was replaced so infrequently that we often had to buy our own. On our last day, staff said we had stained a sheet blue and wanted us to pay for it or buy a replacement. We had no blue clothes apart from my old jeans, which don't run, and I only wore pajamas in bed. They didn't even try washing the sheet before insisting the stain wouldn't come out. They dropped the issue before we left, but it felt unfair and like an attempt to get quick money.

Good value, and I'd come back. It's around a 10-minute walk to the centre, with nice bars and restaurants close by. The rooms were cleaned and got fresh towels every day. The staff were nice, especially the friendly woman in the shop.

Check the room before you go in, and watch out for towel overcharges!
