The bar staff made the stay for me. They were always warm and welcoming, and honestly deserve more credit than the hotel itself. The rooms are a good size, especially the ones by the pool, and the pool is small but pleasant. Cleaning could be a bit more thorough, though it wasn't a major issue. At reception, the man who checked us in said outright that he hated his job. The following day, we saw him speak shockingly to a colleague. Guests also have to leave a cash deposit, which is awkward to get back just as you're preparing to go home. It would make more sense to take it by card and return it to the card. The owners should think about putting one or both of the bar staff in charge of welcoming guests. My three stars are for them; I can't rate the hotel higher. Hope this helps if you're choosing somewhere to stay.

We had to buy a prepaid card to get online, since there was no free WiFi. The hotel also asks for a 50 euro deposit when you arrive, and if you're leaving early, make sure someone is at reception or you may not get the money back. The worst part was the housekeeping. Our sheets and towels weren't changed once during the whole stay. The cleaners only took out the rubbish, and when I asked the receptionist for fresh towels, I was told their policy was to change them once a week. The location wasn't good and there was no breakfast, which might have been bearable on its own, but the room service made the stay a disaster.

The pool was almost empty, and the water was really warm. It was peaceful there, too. The staff were friendly, and for what we paid, I thought the hotel was great. It does feel a bit dated, so some things could use replacing.

There was a smell in the room that took a few days to get used to. Still, it was really nice for the price. Rooms are cleaned if you ask, and despite the company's stated policy, we got fresh towels nearly every day and had the sheets changed as well. The staff were friendly :)

The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the apartment was clean and simple. The pool is on the small side, but it was fine. WiFi costs extra.
