The apartment was cleaned every day, and the cleaning ladies were the one good thing about the stay. The location was okay, but our room faced a bus stop. Diesel fumes, beeping, and drunk people at night meant we had to keep the windows shut. The advertised oven and microwave weren’t there. The kitchen only had a kettle, toaster, and two small hobs. If you’re self-catering, bring or buy cutlery. The two pans provided were so large that only one could be used at a time. Bathroom tiles were falling off the wall, the boiler was mounted above the bath so I kept bumping my head in the shower, and the bath leaked underneath, leaving a big, dangerous puddle when you got out. The air conditioning cooled the living room, but the bedroom stayed hot. Given the location problems, you couldn’t leave the windows open. There was no late checkout, even when requested in advance. The manager decided on the day based on how busy things were. There weren’t enough pool loungers, so people put towels out as early as 7am to reserve them and left others with nowhere to sit. That wasn’t such a loss, since missing tiles on the pool floor could scratch your feet. We all ended up with strange bites on our skin, though I don’t know what caused them. Go at your own risk.
