For an apartment, this was a real letdown. The location is good and there’s plenty of space, but the problems were major, not little nitpicks. The bathroom doors were broken and felt like they might fall on you in the shower. One actually did, and the toilet flush button was partly broken too. One of the air conditioners didn’t work. There was no washing machine, nowhere to dry clothes, and no mop, so the floor got dirty quickly and we couldn’t clean it. We had to ask for a table and chairs just to have somewhere to eat. There wasn’t even a bar of soap in the bathroom, which was especially disappointing during a pandemic. Why is this hotel rated four stars? I’d give it 2.5 at best.

It’s set a little back, which keeps things quiet enough to rest. Cacao Beach and the entertainment are close, and the beach is about a six-minute walk away. Good location!

These are the worst apartments. If this had been my first trip to Sunny Beach, I wouldn’t have come back.

Please avoid staying here if you can. The owner is very rude and impolite. Whenever he saw us, he’d start shouting at us in Bulgarian. We had no hot water because the boiler didn’t work, the toilet door wouldn’t lock, and there were no towels. The beds were old, and the mattress we slept on was moldy along the side. Our sheets and covers weren’t changed once during our 11-day stay. The listing mentions kitchen equipment, a microwave, and a hotplate. Our room had no microwave, just an old, partly dismantled half-pan and a saucepan that was in okay condition. Bring your own pots if you plan to make coffee.
