We stayed for eight nights in a large, comfortable apartment on the sixth floor. It was clean and very quiet. Mrs. Petrova, the administrator, was kind and helpful, and her English was very good. The location worked well for us: the beach is an eight-minute walk, and there are lots of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel has free private parking in the courtyard, and street parking is free too.

We had two apartments for my family, and both had problems. In one, the shower water wouldn’t drain at all and there were lots of ants in the living room. The sofas were an issue in both apartments. The pool was very small. The other apartment’s boiler wasn’t giving hot water, and the problem wasn’t fixed until a day after our stay ended. In the meantime, six people had to share one bathroom for showers. We had the same towels for five days, with no fresh towels or sheets. Cleaning happened on the fourth day: they left one toilet paper roll, took the rubbish, and used a mop, but the dirt was still there. Cars were parked on the sidewalk because there wasn’t room for more than five, so there was effectively no parking. Maybe these things are normal for Bulgaria, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for a good holiday. For just 10 or 20 euro more per night, you might get a four or five-star hotel.
