Beautiful Deluxe 2-bed Apartment in Sunny Beach

We had a great time and would recommend the place, though you may want to bring towels for the pool, soap or shampoo, and dish soap. Our one-bedroom apartment had a living room, balcony, fully equipped kitchenette, shower, and toilet. The complex itself is very clean, with 17 six-storey buildings, ten pools of different sizes, including children’s pools, plus a small supermarket and restaurants. We were told towels and the room would be attended to on day two, then towels and bed linen changed on day four. In practice, the room wasn’t cleaned and the bed linen wasn’t changed; towels were replaced only twice. I know some people went more than four days without cleaning or fresh towels.

We spent seven days here, and it was a pretty good stay. The staff were very friendly, the beds and sofa were comfortable, and there was air conditioning in every room. Our one-bedroom apartment had a large living room where you could cook, plus a very useful washing machine. There are playgrounds for children, lots of cats to play with, and no mosquitoes or flies. The ten pools weren’t crowded, though most were small, with only two of them larger. Breakfast was included and decent for three or four days, but the choices were the same each day and got tiring after that. Only one restaurant stays open all day; the other has a buffet that costs $50 per person. The worst nuisance was the cooking smell from other apartments coming through the kitchen hood. There was no way to stop it. Parking at $10 a day felt crazy.

We stayed five nights in early September 2025, and it was a great first visit. I’d come back. The gated complex has a guard, which made it feel safe, and there are ten pools set in little spaces between the buildings, around 14 of them. Breakfast at Lotus restaurant was fantastic, with lots of hot and cold food and drinks. They’ll make omelettes if you ask, and there were little cakes and pancakes with Nutella for something sweet. Some mornings they served buckwheat, which I hadn’t seen before. Plenty of indoor seating, less outside, and cats around. Our room seemed newly renovated. It was clean, with fresh towels and bedding, comfortable beds, a spare fridge, and two separate sheets on each bed, which was nice for keeping cool. The air conditioning worked well. We had a spacious balcony with a lovely view, and the shower was easy to use with strong water pressure. Shampoo and body wash came in little bottles. Towels were changed after two days, toilet paper after three, though you can ask sooner if you need more. We could hear and see the evening dancing entertainment around 8 or 9. My one gripe was at the Italian restaurant by the big main pool: the waitress forgot the rum in my mojito. She was mildly apologetic, but I felt a bit robbed.

The room was never cleaned during our five-day stay, and none of our towels were changed. When staff took all the towels, reception said the hotel was full and they needed them, even though I asked twice for replacements. Fire alarms kept going off, sending everyone out five or six times in a row. I’d paid extra for parking, but someone else took my spot. The food was awful, the bathroom kept flooding, and the whole place smelled of sewage. Kids were yelling constantly. No one seemed available at reception, and staff were very rude, from reception to the cleaning ladies. We also couldn’t find anyone who spoke either English or Bulgarian. The resort is extremely overpriced, badly serviced, and too far from everything. This was the worst resort I’ve stayed at, and I wouldn’t return even if I were paid to.
