Bratanov Apartments in Trakia Complex

The staff at the hotel and cafeteria were kind and welcoming, but I wouldn't stay here again. We were put on the 1st floor, which felt like a basement: cold all the time, dim, and noisy. Our room faced the pool, where music and children screaming went on all day and kept giving us a headache. The noise carried on late into the evening, so sleeping was hard. Cleanliness could be better, and the food was the same kind of thing every day. The agency's stated distance to the sea was misleading; by the time we reached the shore, we were already tired from the walk.

We've stayed at lots of places in Sunny Beach, but this was the only one where the children were happy thanks to the water slides and children's pool. Our apartment looked over the pool, which made it easy to keep an eye on them. Thanks, Radost, for the warm welcome. We'll come back.

The pools were big and the kids had loads of fun, and the beach was close by. Our apartment was very clean, and the welcome was kind and right on time. They even let us stay for free until after lunch on departure day. Great spot for a family holiday, I recommend Bratanov apartments!

On my first day, I found the apartment dirty, with sand everywhere and an uncleaned floor. A security guard came over at the pool and asked if I was a Traika customer because I wasn't wearing a wristband. I'm Black, and he felt entitled to make this particularly inappropriate gesture. He should learn from management that wristbands aren't required for all customers. Thankfully, not all Bulgarians are that stupid.
