I had a nice vacation in the end, though there were a few drawbacks. The room was fairly clean, but a strange moldy smell lingered, and I found small cockroaches in the bathroom. The location is excellent, close to most of Sunny Beach's main sites, although it can get noisy. At first, there was a reservation problem and the receptionist didn't handle it very professionally. He called the manager, though, and they sorted it out by giving me a larger room as compensation. The rest of the staff were friendly. With no elevator, it may not suit elderly people. For the location and price, I felt the good points just edged out the bad.

I felt comfortable leaving my car in the parking area, with security cameras around the property. The rooms are set up for privacy and have good sound isolation, so it's a nice option with a friend or someone close to you. There were a few small issues, but staff can help if you ask. I'd suggest staying 4-7 days to enjoy what Sunny Beach has to offer. The shower had no slippers, which I didn't like, though a superior room comes with a nice robe.

Breakfast is self-service with plenty of choice, served in an open seating area outside the front. The staff there were very flat, without a good morning or other usual pleasantries. The hotel is handy for nightlife and the beach, and my top-floor room felt fitter as the week went on 😆. One receptionist, a young man, was pleasant. Although cleaning staff were around daily, the rooms weren't cleaned thoroughly: I got clean towels twice and clean sheets once. Also, take care on the stairs, as windows that open onto the staircase can stick out and are easy to bump into.

For the price, the rooms were decent and the location pretty good. We had a breakfast mix-up because we booked in a rush and didn't realize one room didn't include it. The manager, a very nice lady, gave us breakfast for that room, which earns her 5/5 from me. We had two rooms and ran into several issues. One AC unit worked fine for only 3/5 days; we didn't notice the problem until the fourth night, when we wondered why it was getting weaker, and then told the girl at the desk. Cleaning was poor, with sand and tissues staying in the same spots for 3/4 days. The sand was noticeable since we went to the beach daily and tried to bring back as little as possible. It seemed they mainly cleaned the bathroom and balcony, so I'd give cleaning 7/10. One staff member wasn't great with English, but we managed. Also, don't lift the beds, it's quite a mess underneath. In one room, after a 5/10-minute shower, water rose from the other drain near the toilet or leaked out the sides of the shower, leaving a private pool in the bathroom.
