Continental Blu Hotel

The hotel is a natural spot, not new or fancy, but it’s well maintained, from the cleaning to the garden. We had a great stay at the Continental park hotel. The room was spacious enough, with a big bed and a balcony overlooking the interior garden. The shades can turn day into night if you need extra rest. The toilet ventilation wasn’t working. I’d recommend it and visit again.

The pool was fantastic for the kids, but we found the rooms really small with hardly any space. The staff were really rude, and there are no lifts, so elderly people have to go up and down the stairs. Part of the hotel isn’t even used anymore, and the place is run down. I wouldn’t stay again.

The cleaning staff and pool bar staff were very helpful, and people at the restaurants, shops, and coffee shops were nice and helpful too. This was our first time in Bulgaria, and it definitely won’t be our last. We’ll look for a better place to stay next time. loveholidays should be honest about what this place is like. The pictures look great, but it looks nothing like them in real life. The room was tiny, the carpet was stained and dirty, and the toilet and shower area felt dangerous because of the slipping. We’re both in our late 60s and had to climb 6 flights of stairs to our room. It really affected my knees, and I have FMS. Nowhere on site said there was no lift. We asked more than once for a room on the bottom floor, but the person at reception was totally rude about it. Our rep, on the other hand, was very good. There were so many stairs that we didn’t even make use of breakfast. There was no canopy on the balcony, so at 30 degrees we couldn’t use it. I’ll never come back to this hotel and would advise anyone thinking of staying here not to.

The hotel was near the beach, and the pool area seemed okay, but those few positives didn’t make it worth the stay or the 3 stars. The rooms looked and felt unclean and were outdated. The bathroom mirror was held up with two pieces of duct tape, and I felt itchy after sleeping in the beds. Breakfast was the same every day, and I was tired of it after two days. It seemed like they never put salt or pepper in the food. Even the clean water glasses had a very strong, unpleasant smell. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. My advice is to stay away and never book a room here.
