The food had plenty of dishes each day, though it wasn't especially varied. I loved the meatloaves, and the lamb with mushrooms was delicious. The bartenders were great, and the pool was decent and clean. My room was spacious, with a large bed, a sofa in the lounge area, an extendable armchair and a balcony. The bathroom was roomy enough and had a shower cabin. It's about 450 metres to the beach. The place felt cozy and quiet, and the staff were good. Just know that you need to hang the “Please make up the room!” tag on the doorknob to get towels and sheets changed. My room faced the main street, so I could hear traffic at night.

For two weeks, £417 covered flights, the hotel and all-inclusive food and drinks. At that price, I think it was very good value. The food compares well with other Bulgarian hotels, and the rooms are spacious, with extras like a free safe and fridge.

Shops are plentiful nearby, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is small but tidy. My room was around 40 sq. m, with a king-size bed, TV and a small fridge that freezes well. The bathroom was clean, though there were no amenities. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor restaurant.

We'd book the hotel again, but skip its beach area. The loungers and longer mats there were cheap and uncleaned, and you had to sort them out yourself. The hut and bar weren't good either. The hotel itself is in a quiet area, not too far from the beach, and good for the price. Our room was clean, the beds were excellent and we slept really well. Staff were nice and it had a family-run feel, with sun around the pool wherever you sat. The pool is small but pleasant. Food was OK, though more fruit would be good, the sweets and ice cream lacked flavour, and drinks were basic, although the beer was fine.
