The team are quick and attentive, and most of the food was good, especially the julienne and puff pastry snacks. The buffet has enough choice for everyone, but breakfast is too limited and nearly the same every day. We also had questions about the rooms: everyone we knew had a leaking shower. Our air conditioner didn't work either. We contacted reception several times, and a specialist finally came to fix it on the 5th day. Otherwise everything was fine. I wish the team prosperity, luck and success.😉

The pools are nice, and the hotel sits right in the middle of Sunny Beach, close to the beach and surrounded by restaurants with really good food. The hotel itself is beautiful. I’d recommend it for a holiday, and Residence Magnolia is another good option for a stay.

The food setup was exhausting: we waited about 15 minutes just to get in line, and they limited you to two pieces of meat per pass. Want more? Back to the queue. Staff also got unreasonably angry if anyone put food on their own plate by mistake. Nobody seemed to speak English, which made it hard to get help with anything. Our apartment was always dirty and sandy, and they wouldn’t give us a broom so we could clean it ourselves. It was supposed to be cleaned at least once in six days, too. The air conditioner switched on around 3 a.m. and couldn’t be turned off unless we removed the room key, which also stopped the chargers working. Getting trapped on a terrace or in an elevator apparently wasn’t unusual. The pool closed at 6 in the evening, just when we were returning from the beach and could have used it. The staff were frivolous and uncultured, from reception and housekeeping to the people serving food and security. There was no warmth or smile, and security was so strict it felt like prison. Once they knocked on our door at 2 a.m. after mistaking our room for the one where people were laughing and talking. I especially want to mention the barista. He wouldn’t take off his shoes for 20 minutes when they arrived at the hotel for no reason, then when asked a second time whether we could order and get billiard chips, he pulled them out and explained how it works, saying in some English that we would not pierce. Like everyone else. And if there was one good thing, there were lots of chicks.

We had a lot of fun and our stay was unique, so I’d definitely go back. The food was the main downside: if you don’t eat meat, there aren’t many choices, though I guess meat eaters will be fine. The staff were kind, including the people who came to change our towels, even if they didn’t speak our language very well. I think most spoke Russian. The Bulgarian-speaking bartender had a tattoo on his left wrist, and one of the food servers spoke Bulgarian too. Another bartender spoke Bulgarian but was rude. He refused to make me a shake, saying, “You didn’t say it when you were supposed to say it.” ❤️
