Maria Palace Hotel - All Inclusive

The food on our all-inclusive plan was disappointing. It wasn't especially fresh or flavorful, the meat was tough, and breakfast eggs were a bit dry. On the plus side, the hotel was clean, with nice rooms and big balconies. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The location was excellent, right by the bus station and a five-minute walk to the beach, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

The rooms are very clean, and the cleaning lady is super friendly. The bar guy, Boby, is great too and brings the party. Those were the best things about the hotel for me. The staff otherwise seemed uninterested. The food was about 90% dry and flavorless, and meal times were split into two slots depending on your floor. If you're on the third floor or higher, you can only eat at the later times. The bar shuts at exactly 22:00, with no exceptions, so a great night at the hotel isn't really an option. If you don't care about the food or spending time at the hotel, it might be fine. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms have been renovated and the pool area is nice, with enough sunbeds. Lunch and dinner from the all-inclusive menu weren't the best. Still, the general standard was good, and given the fairly low price, I think four stars is fair.

The crew made the week especially nice. I've never felt so welcome, everyone was smiling, kind and helpful. The building and pool were clean, the rooms were spacious, and the food was delicious. The location was perfect for us, about 800m from the beach, with shops and a bus stop just a few minutes away. We'll definitely come back. Honestly, I don't know where the negative reviews come from, it sounds like those people stayed at a different hotel 🤭
