Menada Sunny Day 1 Apartments

The apartment had several problems when we checked out: the water heater was dirty, an electrical outlet was coming out of the wall and seemed dangerous, and the AC didn’t work properly. Getting help from Menada was difficult from the start. We arrived to an empty reception, which turned out to be where a security guard stayed, despite the misleading sign. Calls to the number on the paper and to Menada went unanswered, so I had to contact booking customer service. Their office was a 15-minute walk away. When I asked why they hadn’t answered, they said they were very busy, though they seemed to be doing nothing, and the representative didn’t apologize. Midway through the stay, our back was stolen at the beach, with the apartment keys among the things inside. We feared someone could enter the apartment and called Menada as soon as possible. They answered two hours later, after a Bulgarian guest helped us call from a Bulgarian number, and promised someone would come in 10 minutes. I waited an hour, but nobody came. At 12 am, in the blazing sun, wearing flip-flops and shorts after the beach robbery, I went to their office. When I asked why they didn’t answer or follow through on the promised help, they again said they were very busy. I was furious. Please don’t go there. Even in a serious situation, you may not be able to reach Menada.

The prices were very reasonable, and the taste and service were great. I felt at home in Zaporozhye, with a cozy atmosphere and lovely interior. The chefs are Ukrainian, which I think is the secret to the food. I’d been on Sunny Beach for a week and tried different places, but after eating here I didn’t go anywhere else. Very tasty! The owner herself may have been serving us, if I remember right, and the service was very polite. Thanks so much, I recommend it to everyone!
