The only good thing was the location, about 5 minutes from Cacao beach. The facilities were old, worn out and not clean enough. Reception and restaurant staff were rude and impolite. The restaurant hygiene was poor, and the food stayed simple and repetitive for the whole week. Sometimes there wasn’t enough for everyone, and we had to keep asking for cutlery, bread and other things. The TV and air conditioner were old and broken. The pool was small with very few loungers. Towels and pillows were filthy, very old and full of holes.

It’s about 100 meters from the beach, the shower water was fine, and the small pool was clean. The reception staff were really kind and nice, and that gave the hotel some soul. Towels were only replaced every 3 days. It may only have two stars, but those things were enough for me to give it four.

A pleasant hotel with a nice atmosphere and staff. The one thing I’d like the owner to think about is making the rooms a little bigger and extending the Wi-Fi range. We had to sit on chairs by the elevators to get online.

The dish we eventually got was good, and our waitress was a little confused, which we initially found kind of funny. But the meal arrived cold, and the main dish and side weren’t served together. Some of the food never came at all. Waiting around and losing time for nothing was disappointing. We hope it’ll be better next time.

A good choice if you’re after a relaxing holiday and aren’t looking for luxury. The staff are friendly, and it’s near the beach. The home cooking tastes good. Towels came fresh every 2-3 days. There’s a mini fridge and a small, old-fashioned TV.
