Sunny Beach Rent Apartments - Royal Sun

The kids spent their days at the pool and made friends there, while my wife and I had a great ten days with them. Our apartment was cleaned every other day, with fresh towels and bed linen, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant twice for dinner and twice for lunch. The menu is simple, but the food is good quality and the staff there were friendly too. The rest of the time we ate out. There's lots of choice at Sunny Beach, and we had delicious food every day. Prices are tiny compared with the Netherlands. We had a wonderful time, and this hotel is definitely worth booking.

The apartment was clean and spacious, though our view was of the hotel across the street. I'd have preferred to look into our own complex. The pool and loungers were great, and the gardens and grounds were very well kept. There were good menu choices, and the restaurant staff were friendly. The bar staff were friendly too, though I'd have preferred less 70s and 80s music in the background. The SPA staff were lovely and friendly, and the visit was well worth it. Self catering worked well, but the kitchen was short on utensils: cereal bowls, a sharp knife, an egg flipper and a colander for pasta, for example.

The location made it easy to get around on foot, and buses, boats and land trains were all close by. There are two big pools plus one for kids, lots of sunbeds, and a good bar and restaurant. The room was good for the price, and the cleaning was OK.

The area around the hotel was great, but I wouldn't stay here again. We had paid for internet for the week and it kept cutting out. The rooms were very dated, and the first one we were given was small and dirty. Staff moved us right away without any trouble. The pool area was spacious and great, though the sunbeds were uncomfortable and it could use some music.
