I used to own a place in this complex, but sold it this year because of the rude staff, especially the older security man. He’s abusive and racially insulting. They gave him a motorized vehicle to drive around and tell people off, threatening a 100lv fine if you don’t follow his instructions. If you challenge him, he reports you to management and you get fined 100 lv. If you refuse to pay, they block your fob and lock you out. Management backs him, and the kids are scared of him. The other staff are dismissive if you need help. Marina in the office is the only approachable and helpful one, but she’s overwhelmed with work. I also sold because management brought in a quiet period from 2-4 when you can’t use the pool. Families with kids end up stuck in their apartments, where the quiet rule doesn’t seem to apply and frustrated children get even noisier. The older man disappears for a two-hour break and doesn’t patrol the buildings. You’d have more fun in a monastery. Everything here seems to be a “NO” to guests. I envied people at the neighboring complexes having fun on holiday. The beach is the only plus, but other complexes are just as close and their staff acknowledge you and smile. You can spend your money elsewhere and actually enjoy your stay. I’d recommend Polo, where for the price of a coffee you can use their pool and escape this miserable complex.

The grounds are okay, but the staff are rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. There’s not enough parking, and this isn’t a place for parties. If staff decide you’ve done something wrong, they’ll fine you. I’ll never come back. I’m posting a photo below of the guy who ruined our vacation.

The rooms are good, but the staff are so rude that I feel really uncomfortable here. If they understand your language, they may talk to you like you’re an unwelcome guest in their home, even using bad words. I’m shocked. The man in the red T-shirt who rides his “trikoletka” around is something else. He shouts by the pool and in the parking lot, acting like he’s the god of the complex. He needs to be fired. I don’t know where people like that could work. The administration should review its staff and make big changes. The infrastructure is great, but the staff are completely unsuitable.

The location worked well for getting around, with the beach and nearby supermarkets within walking distance and an airport bus about five minutes away on foot. The pools were really nice and the price was great. My room felt a bit small, and I had problems with the Wi-Fi and TV during my visit. Pretty good overall.
