The setting is a real plus: the sea is to the left, and green plains stretch out to the right. It’s on the edge of Sveti Vlas, but shops and other things are still within easy walking distance. Near the Diamant reception, which is the main reception area for the entire Dinevi Resort, there’s a "Marina" store with an exchange office. A little further right when facing the sea, uphill near the main road, is the Diamond store. You can find what you need at either. The Mercury supermarket is farther away, and sells magnets for 1 lev each. Avoid relying on the nearby Sun Coast minimarket down by the sea except for small purchases or as a last resort, since its prices are outrageously high. The hotel looks beautiful, with a design somewhat like old Bulgarian houses, and our apartment had one bedroom and a kitchenette, with room for four adults. But the furniture looked worn, the kitchen was only somewhat functional, and the bathroom and plumbing need replacing. They looked dirty and unpleasant, and the shower door wouldn’t shut all the way. The walk down to the nearest beach is short but steep, so the climb back is a challenge, though manageable. The beach wasn’t perfectly clean, but compared with the Odessa resorts, it was a pleasant surprise. The location is good, but the hotel needs some work on basic amenities that shouldn’t depend on how much your stay costs.

There are 125 apartments in the house, designed in the style of old Bulgarian houses. Parking is free and guarded around the clock. It’s 200 m from the sea, with lovely views of the sea and the pine-covered mountain. The location is convenient, with a bus stop 200 m away, a small vegetable market close by, the church of St. Vlas 300 m away, and plenty of shops and restaurants.

A lovely, peaceful complex just beyond the town center, with mountains and pine forest on one side and the sea on the other. There’s a pool and lots of greenery, and even on the hottest days a pleasant breeze comes through.
