We found a small shared kitchen handy, with a fridge freezer, cooker, table and chairs, and a portable fan. The rooms were good and the bathroom was a good size. There’s no lift, but the friendly receptionist spoke good English and helped carry our bags. On arrival we got a nice cold drink, and he even gave our group of eight a couple of carifs of wine. I’d highly recommend staying here. We ate at the restaurant when we arrived late at night, and again when it was too wet to go elsewhere. The food was very ordinary, nothing special, and they were short staffed. The woman who served us, who owned the hotel band, was lovely. She worked really hard and long hours.

The staff were respectable, and the owners were so lovely that I got to know them quite well. The hotel was nice and very clean, and the food and drinks were well priced. I stayed nearly two weeks without any problems. I’d definitely return if I’m in Bulgaria again.

We were staying at a neighboring hotel, so this is just about the restaurant. Hotel Eden has a good range of tasty food, and it’s not expensive. Since it’s family run, service can get stretched when every table is full. There’s a grandmother and mother in the kitchen, a mother and daughter serving, and a father at reception, among others, so it helps to be patient.
